The Beautiful Blogger Award

So last week I was notified that I had been tagged to do the Beautiful Blogger award by the lovely Rambling Reads, so thank you so much for tagging me. This tag allows you to list some fact about yourself. The rules are as follows...

Rules:

Link the blogger who took the time to nominate you.

List seven random things about yourself.

Nominate seven beautiful, creative bloggers.

Notify the amazing people who you nominated for the award.

So let's get started...

1. I state my favourite book of all time has to be The Book Thief by Marcus Zusack.

2. I am currently studying for a History degree but I don't read much historical fiction.

3. I have a twin sister called Rebecca. I am older by one minute.

4. I am currently taking a film module at university which has made me more interested in black and white films as before I did not like them before. It has also made me more conscious of the production of a film and film's history.

5. Recently I have stopped comparing book to movie adaptations to each other because I know there are going to be different and they are different mediums so not everything from the book is going to fit in the film.

6. I really like indie films.

7. I have recently rediscovered my love of creating with the help of my Wreck This Journal.

8. I didn't think I could think of seven interesting facts about myself, I was wrong.

Hope you enjoyed the facts about myself and I hope you learnt something new about me!

As per, I am not going to tag anyone but if anyone wants to do this tag feel free.

What are seven facts about you? Leave them in the comments below.

See you soon,

Amy

Book Review: The Great Godden by Meg Rossoff

   * I am reviewing this book which I was gifted for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. * Title: The Great Godden  Author: Meg Rossoff Publisher: Bloomsbury  Source: NetGalley ( Bookshop UK |  Hive |  Goodreads  |  Storygraph ) Book Summary: Everyone talks about falling in love like it’s the most miraculous, life-changing thing in the world. Something happens, they say, and you know … That’s what happened when I met Kit Godden. I looked into his eyes and I knew. Only everyone else knew too. Everyone else felt exactly the same way. This is the story of one family, one dreamy summer – the summer when everything changes. In a holiday house by the sea, our watchful narrator sees everything, including many things they shouldn’t, as their brother and sisters, parents and older cousins fill hot days with wine and games and planning a wedding. Enter two brothers – irresistible, charming, languidly sexy Kit a...

Reviewing All Of The Books

Earlier this year, I decided that I would review all of the books that I read. For the most part, I definitely have but over the last couple of months it has definitely gone to the wayside but that is because I have been so busy. I wanted to do it because I annoyed myself that I reviewed books years after I read them and I often couldn't remember the plot. Trust me this is still the case, but I have kind of run out of books that I need to review this year which is weird for me. My backlog is getting lower and as I am not reading as much, I genuinely think I might run out. This has never happened before. This is of course quite nice because I think that it creates feelings that are much better than remembering a book from two years ago. Thinking about it at the moment does definitely make it easier as it goes into my head on a computer screen and less memory space is always a good idea. I also do think that sometimes it does take the fun out of it though but there are a lot of benef...

Esther's father is agoraphobic and hasn't left the basement in six years, her twin brother can t be in the dark without a light on, and her mother is terrified of bad luck. The Solars are consumed by their fears and, according to the legend of the curse, destined to die from them.  Esther doesn't know what her great fear is yet (nor does she want to), a feat achieved by avoiding pretty much everything. Elevators, small spaces, and crowds are all off-limits. So are haircuts, spiders, dolls, mirrors and three dozen oth...
