Review Policy

My review requests are open, please send me an email on powisamy@gmail.com and I will consider requests and I will reply as soon as possible with a reply.

What will I accept for review?

- I will accept both self or traditionally published authors.

- I will also accept both print or digital copies of books. The format of E-Books would be better if they are PDF or available to view on a Kindle.

- I will accept books to review that are YA especially contemporaries, Sci-Fi/Fantasy Books, Thrillers and Dystopian reads. On occasion, I may also consider reviewing adult Sci-Fi Fantasy reads but this will be based on a synopsis.

- If I accept your book to review I would hope to read and review your book in a 6 month period although this could be delayed as to how busy I am. Due to this please mention in your initial email if the book as to be read on a specific date so I have enough time to read the book and post a review.

- If I dislike a book that I have taken in to review, then I will contact you to let you know the situation before anything is published as I do post reviews honestly on my blog.

- The review of the book will definitely be posted on my blog and I am looking into finding the time to cross-post my reviews to Goodreads and Amazon. If you would like me to review the book on Amazon and Goodreads, please let me know and I will do so.

My Reading Tastes Are Changing

For the last couple of years, I feel like this has become a reoccurring blog post but I want to talk about it now because I think something is actually happening in my reading life. Something happens, they say, and you know … That’s what happened when I met Kit Godden. I looked into his eyes and I knew. Only everyone else knew too. Everyone else felt exactly the same way. This is the story of one family, one dreamy summer – the summer when everything changes. In a holiday house by the sea, our watchful narrator sees everything, including many things they shouldn’t, as their brother and sisters, parents and older cousins fill hot days with wine and games and planning a wedding. Enter two brothers – irresistible, charming, languidly sexy Kit and surly, silent Hugo. Suddenly there’s
