After the aftermath of YALC, where I bought too many books (book haul coming soon) I needed to have more shelf space so I decided to get rid of some books. Although I see the book unhaul quite often on booktube, I don't think I have seen them regularly on the blogging community, however, I thought I would still tell you what books I am getting rid of. So let's get started...
1. Missing Me by Sophie Mckenzie
Although a Sophie Mckenzie fan, I don't see myself getting to his book very soon. This is the final book in a trilogy and I don't own any of the others and if I really want to read this book in the future then I can get it from the library it's just, for now, I need the space for other books that I have just purchased. I also got this book for a pound and it was in hardcover and was more of an impulse buy.
2. Thirteen by Tom Hoyle
Although I enjoyed this book when I read it, I didn't enjoy the book that much to leave it on my shelf. Also, I do not see myself rereading it anytime soon or ever and someone could want this book more than I do.
3. The Awakening and The Struggle by L.J Smith
Although I enjoyed these two books, I know that I am never going to reread them. I enjoy the TV show so much more than the books and these two books are taking space needed for the books I bought over the weekend.
4. My Love Lies Bleeding by Alyxandra Harvey
Unlike the other books on this list, I really enjoyed this book and do want to read the rest of the series, but at this time there are a lot more books that I want to read and if I want to read the other books libraries are there for a reason.
5.Crave by Melissa Darnell
This is one of the books that I really didn't like and I am not willing to keep. To me, this book could be a stand-alone and I don't want it anymore. The only reason it has been staying on my bookshelf is the pretty spine and cover.
6.The Dark Horse by Marcus Sedgewick
I only got this book because it was free at Summer in The City, I liked Marcus Sedgewick so I picked up the book but I know I will not read this anytime soon.
7. White Crow by Marcus Sedgewick
I have read this book but like the other books, I don't see myself reading it anytime soon.
8. Stealing Phoenix by Joss Stirling
I have wanted to read Finding Sky by Joss Stirling but I only own the second book in this series and there are newer releases that I would favour over reading this series.
9. The Kissing Booth by Beth Reekles
In the hype of last year's YALC, I purchased some more UKYA titles and this was one of them. Although I still want to read some of the Say Her Name by Juno Dawson and Trouble by Non Pratt, this is not one of them. I guess someone will enjoy this more than me.
10. The Blessed by Tonya Hurley
This book did look really good when I first got it, however, this is not a stand-alone novel and I don't really want to start this new series and I guess someone else will.
11. Lock & Key by Sarah Dessen
Most people have read a Sarah Dessen book but I haven't and I don't think I will start yet as I have other books that I want to read more compared to this one.
Have you unhauled any books lately? If so what were they? Leave them in the comments below.
See you soon,
Amy
