About Amy Hello, I'm Amy, an aspiring motorsports writer and former blogger. If you dig deeper enough, you find some very old blog posts, as this started as a book blog, but that's really where I got my start in writing: book reviews, hot book topics and as well as the odd personal essay. After leaving university, I left the book blog behind, but continued writing and going in the world of social media, writing film reviews and promoting queer cinema, but after a tragic event in my personal life, I quickly discovered Motorsports. What started as a love for Formula 1, while finally watching the Formula 1 film, Rush, and discovering Formula 1 TikTok, this love soon expanded to everything Formula E, IndyCar, Formula 2, Formula 3, as well as F1 Academy. I soon found the itch to write come back, with the fast-moving news of motorsport, to the drama, the competition, and the journey of drivers trying to find a race seat. I found that it was the people and storie...

Title: The Iron WarriorAuthor: Julie Kagawa
Source: NetGalley
Publisher: MiraInk
Rating: 5/5 stars
Book Summary from Goodreads:
The Iron Prince—my nephew—betrayed us all.
He killed me.
Then, I woke up.
Waking after a month on the brink of death, Ethan Chase is stunned to learn that the Veil that conceals the fey from human sight was temporarily torn away. Although humankind's glimpse of the world of Faery lasted just a brief moment, the human world has been cast into chaos, and the emotion and glamour produced by fear and wonder have renewed the tremendous power of the Forgotten Queen. Now, she is at the forefront of an uprising against the courts of Summer and Winter—a reckoning that will have cataclysmic effects on the Nevernever.
Leading the Lady's Forgotten Army is Keirran himself: Ethan's nephew, and the traitor son of the Iron Queen, Meghan Chase. To stop Keirran, Ethan must disobey his sister once again as he and his girlfriend, Kenzie, search for answers long forgotten. In the face of unprecedented evil and unfathomable power, Ethan's enemies must become his allies, and the world of the fey will be changed forevermore.
Book Review in under 200 words:
I have been in
love with Julie Kagawa's work from the first Iron Fey series so when I knew
there was a spin-off, of course, I was excited. I devoured the first two books
and after this book got pushed back and had its name changed I was obviously
very excited when it was first released.
The book is a great ending to the series and I
really loved it. It was nice being with the characters again and seeing
how they react with each other. To me, Julie Kagawa can do no wrong especially
when this book took so long to come out, I did just want to know how it ended.
This being said,
however, The Iron Warrior was a great end to the series. We got to see all of
my favourite characters back again and I do just love Keirran and Ethan and their
relationship and also really love Ethan and Kenzie’s love affair too.
I did love this
book and this series and I feel like more people need to read Julie Kagawa’s
books so please do that so that I can gush over my feels.
The Verdict:
The Iron Warrior is a great end to the series and I hope to return to this world soon if more written.
