So this blog post has been a long time coming and I have wanted to write this post for the longest time. So this post will come in two parts:
1. Why your Hogwarts house does not matter
2. Why we are all divergent
So let's get started with the first part...
Why your Hogwarts house does not matter
So when you see this post title you may think that I have gone slightly mad but it terms of a new Pottermore quiz, I say new it is not that new anymore, it is quite relevant. When the Pottermore test resurfaced, a couple of months, my twitter feed went crazy when people discovered they were no longer in the same Hogwarts house. So was I one of these people? No, now I am going to tell you why. I am a Hufflepuff, I know I am a Hufflepuff so when I took the test again I looked for the answers that were most Hufflepuff in nature. But does this mean I should be in Hufflepuff? No, at the end of the day the Pottermore test is an algorithm, it's decisions are universal for everyone, meaning that specific answers will have consequences and it can not tell you what you know to be true inside. To be honest, this means that I can just beat a computer and any quiz for that matter, and even though this could mean I am slightly a Ravenclaw, we can all be more than one house, I mean even Harry Potter could be in Slytherin it is just that he did not want to be. So to conclude, even if you did not get your ideal house on Pottermore, this does not stop you being the house that you want to be and that you no one is completely one house.

Why we are all divergent
Most of us know the story of Divergent, a girl fits out of the crowd because she fits more than one faction. Similarly to Harry Potter, the whole "What faction would you be in" has risen from the story. But this is weird because the whole point of the story is people who only fit one faction are considering to be unnormal. So thinking about this does this not mean that we are not all divergent. We all are special in our own unique way having different qualities. So thinking about this, we all having qualities which means that we are not just one thing.
So, go be your special divergent self!
