The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag

So I was in a really Harry Pottery type mood early this week so I thought that I could do this tag. This tag was created by Just Keep Reading on YouTube and it looked really good. So let's get started..

GENERAL

1 Favourite book?

I have always said that my favourite books are between Prisoner of Azkaban and the Goblet of Fire. I don't what it is about these two but I really enjoyed them. Don't make me pick between them...

2 Least favourite book?

I would have to say Order of the Phoenix as the book had taken me such a long time to read. I have nothing against the story, I just don't know...

3 Favourite movie?
4 Least favourite movie?

I don't know if I have a least favourite and favourite film, it's being such a long time since I have seen the films as well so this question I will leave to you. What are your favourite and least favourite films of Harry Potter?

5 Favourite quote?

I really enjoy this quote. I think that sometimes a quote can come in your life at the right time and you feel something for it. This quote is one of them.

CHARACTERS

6 Favourite Weasley?

Can I say all of them? I am going to say all of them. They are all just so loveable it's really hard to pick. They are a good set of characters.

7 Favourite female character?

There are so many good female characters in Harry Potter. For example: Hermione, Luna and Ginny and even the parents and the professors. Why are these questions so hard? I will say Luna for the question though.

8 Favourite villain?

If I can say Draco Malfoy, I am saying Draco Malfoy. Although he can be really annoying at times, his character has great development and by the end of the book becomes quite an interesting character.

9 Favourite male character?

Ron Weasley because he is the lovable best friend who is just a really good character and will always be my favourite. For some reason I normally like the best friend in contrast to the main protagonist, who knows why?

10 Favourite professor?

Professor McGonagall because let's face it we all know why...

WOULD YOU RATHER

11 A, Wash Snape's hair, or B, spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself.

Listen to Lockhart all day as hopefully he will do see me slowly put headphones in my ear!

12. Duel A, an elated Bellatrix, or B, an angry Molly

An elated Bellatrix because I know she is a deatheater and everything but I really do not want to battle an angry Molly. Who does? Also I hope that if she is happy then I will be able to defeat her.

13. Travel to Hogwarts via A. Hogwarts Express or B. flying car.

Hogwarts Express because it is the Hogwarts Express.

14. A, Kiss Voldemort. Or B, give Umbridge a bubble bath.

Kiss Voldemort because then I might be able to kiss Tom Riddle and that might not be that bad. Just No to Umbridge and the bubblebath.

15. A, ride a hippogriff, B, ride a firebolt

A Hippogriff. Enough said!

BOOK TO MOVIE ADAPTATION

16 Is there a character which you felt differently about in the movies vs books?

I think that everyone's answer would be Ginny, they did not really do her character well in the films. She to me lacks development and is just seen as a Harry super fan.

17 Is there a movie you preferred instead of the book?

No, not really...

18 Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?

I think that both are good in their own ways.

19 Your top thing (person or event) which wasn't included in the movie that annoyed you most.

The Yule Ball Dress, OK this one was included but it was not the right one...

20 If you could remake any of the Potter movies, which would it be?

I do not really know which one that I will change.

HOGWARTS

21 Which house was your first gut feeling you'd be a part of?

I think a lot of people want to be in Gryffindor after reading the book and I was one of those people, although I think that I kind of knew that I was going to be in Hufflepuff.

22 Which house were you actually sorted into on Pottemore (or another online sorting quiz)?

Hufflepuff and proud!!!!!

23 Which class would be your favourite?

Transfiguration because it just seems so cool.

24 Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn?

I know that it is a really simple spell but I think that lumos would be so affective just for the fact that I always seem to need a torch and light coming out of the wand would be quite helpful especially when reading a book at night.

25 Which character do you think at Hogwarts you'd instantly become best friends with?

Luna because although we are in different houses I think that we would have stuff in common and I think we would becomes friends.

MISCELLANEOUS

26 If you could own one of the three Hallows, which would it be?

The Invisibility Cloak because let's face it imagine the things that you can do with it.

27 Is there any aspect of the books you'd want to change? This can be a character, and event, anything.

Maybe to have more diverse characters because when the books were written there was a limited range of LGBTQ+ characters in the books and it was only after that the characters were since as LGBTQ+. Also there was was a lack of race diversity and disability in the books.

28 Favourite marauder?

This question is really hard but I think that I am going to have to say Lupin. I don't really know why but Lupin.

29 If you could bring one character back to life, which would it be?

This is another really hard question!!!! All of them, bring them all back!!!!!

30 Hallows or horcruxes?

Hallows.

Hope you enjoyed this long Harry Potter Tag. Feel free to do this tag yourself. I am going to leave a question to answer in the comments: What do you love about Harry Potter?

See you soon,

Amy

Favourite Graphic Novels & Manga of 2021

As I have read a lot of books this year, I always want to give graphic novels and manga their own celebration as they often get overlooked and do make up a lot of my reading. I also find that even though I read a lot of them, it takes a lot to convince me and make it a new favourite. So here are my best... Heartstopper Volume 4 by Alice Oseman  Like everyone on the internet, I too am a massive Heartstopper fan and Volume 4 is no different. I love the relationship of Nick and Charlie and the side characters also make the series. This one also explores the way that mental health can impact romance and it still does justice to the story and does not fall into cliches. I am eagerly anticipating the final volume but I don't want it to be over.  The Impending Blindness of Billie Scott by Zoe Thorogood One of the last graphic novels I read this year and the one that has the second amount of hype, The Impending Blindness of Billie Scott also leaves a lasting impression. I love a good Briti

All thoughts are my own. * Title: The Great Godden  Author: Meg Rossoff Publisher: Bloomsbury  Source: NetGalley ( Bookshop UK |  Hive |  Goodreads  |  Storygraph ) Book Summary: Everyone talks about falling in love like it’s the most miraculous, life-changing thing in the world. Something happens, they say, and you know … That’s what happened when I met Kit Godden. I looked into his eyes and I knew. Only everyone else knew too. Everyone else felt exactly the same way. This is the story of one family, one dreamy summer – the summer when everything changes.
